Start your day at the Summer Land Camels at Harrisville. It’s a must-visit to see the resident camels and wander the charming homestead, shop and farm. Take a tour the dairy and try the gorgeous camel milk feta.

Then head to Allenview, where you’ll find Towri Sheep Cheese Farm, an artisan boutique Sheep dairy and cheese room producing award-winning hand-crafted cheese. Towri Farm Tours run on the first Saturday of every month (by appointment), guests arrive 10am for a milking demonstration, followed by Towri’s signature cheese tasting, lots of cuddles with the friendly sheep and of course full access to the farm shop which is packed with local produce and all things sheepish!

Top Tip

Don’t do all this in one day. Stay overnight – there are plenty of B&Bs, motels and retreats to choose from. Giving you even more time to enjoy all the delicious cheese!

Next head east to the Witches Chase Cheese Company. A boutique cheese factory located on gorgeous Tamborine Mountain, where you can buy cheese and see it being made.

The final trip on our cheese adventure at the Witches Falls Winery on Tamborine Mountain. As well some great locally made wine, they also make their own range of Jambreen cheeses.
