Have you ever wished you could find a secret spot to go camping with your friends and family but not have to deal with crowds of others?

Ideal for groups, exclusivity is a feature of this campsite and for that reason, once you have booked no one else will be able to camp at this site, it is all yours.

Lamington National Park wilderness is close. With views to Luke’s Bluff and Ding Bing falls in Lamington National Park their Stockyard Creek Campsite has plenty of shade for tents and a huge space for caravans and camper trailers to turn around in. Bring your togs and floaties to cool down in the beautiful Albert River waterhole or paddle and nature play in the babbling Stockyard Creek.

Binoculars and boots are a must for bird watching and exploring the walking tracks in the foothills of Mt Alexander. Keep an eye out for the endangered Glossy Black Cockatoos as you wander through the forest and visit the historical grave of Robbie Francis.

Pop down the road to The Lost World swimming hole or explore the track to nearby Westray’s Grave and the Stinson Wreck.

Don’t forget marshmallows to toast on the fire at night (firewood provided). Damper-making competitions are always fun too!
