Alluvial soil and temperate conditions mean the Scenic Rim is perfect for food production. Go beyond the shop shelf and see where your food comes from and meet the men and women who grow it.
Schedule stops at these producer markets and farm gate stalls.

The Green Shed Markets at the Tamborine Mountain Showgrounds are on every Sunday. Local growers bring their fresh-picked produce to the shed to sell. While you’re on Tamborine Mountain look out for the roadside stalls selling rhubarb, avocados, fresh flowers and many other mountain-grown goodies.

In Canungra, drop into the Visitor Information Centre to stock up on Greenlee Farm macadamias and honey, as well as local relishes and jams. Look out for farmer Dale’s roadside potato and pumpkin stall, just outside Canungra.

Nearby you’ll also find Rathlogan Olives, where you can stock up on olives, olive oil, dukkah and enjoy a meal at The Shed Café and gift shop. Top Tip: Many farm gate stalls operate on an honesty system so make sure you have some change available.
