Situated in the beautiful and secluded Rathdowney, Tuckeroo Cottages enjoys spectacular views of Mount Barney, Mount Maroon and Mount Lindesay. Perfect for escaping the hustle and bustle of city life, this gorgeous property provides a serene atmosphere, ideal for a few nights away. Native wildlife is in abundance including wallabies, bandicoots, koalas and many species of birds and frogs. The property sits on 49 acres and has a designated camping area at the rear of the grounds. The camping ground is a flat, well maintained paddock, surrounded by bushland. Accessible only by 4WD and NOT suitable for caravans. The camping ground contains a sheltered communal area, complete with log table and chairs. There is a very basic shower but no toilet facilities, therefore guests must be fully self-sufficient. Campfires are permitted in designated fire pits only, but may be subject to fire bans. Felling of trees is not permitted. Dog friendly, however all dogs must be on a lead at all times and all dog waste picked up. All rubbish must be taken on departure. No dirt bikes permitted.
