Overview

This is a hosted stay through Hipcamp, below is the information provided by the Host regarding their offering.

A quarter acre of land located a few minutes walk away from the incredible Kamarun Lookout, where you can see Brisbane and the Q1 on a clear day, and stargaze at night. Wallabies and pademelons are frequent visitors at the lookout. The land (half rainforest and half cleared) is located atop a mountain more than 900m above sea level, where the temperature is 7 degrees cooler than on the coast. It is surrounded by the Gondwana rainforests of Lamington National Park with O’Reilly’s Rainforest Retreat 15mins drive away. From O’Reillys you can feed crimson rosellas and king parrots, access Lamington’s famous tree top walk, and hike to numerous lookouts and waterfalls. Also a great place for bird watching. 4X4 recommended as the driveway is quite steep with weeds. Fires not allowed unless you have your own portable fire pit. Campers must be self contained as there is no water or toilet access. You will have the entire site to yourself with no other campers.
