Yumeji Japanese Retreat

Yumeji is a blend of Japanese and Australian hospitality located on Tamborine Mountain.

Styled after the ryokan and minshuku of Japan, Yumeji Japanese Retreat offers guests a unique opportunity to experience “omotenashi”, the philosophy of Japanese hospitality. They have endeavoured to recreate the comfort and personal attention of a traditional Japanese inn, while including some of the comforts of home.

The rooms have been thoughtfully designed for the comfort of the guest, with the utmost attention to detail. Their bedrooms have authentic Japanese decor with tatami mats and shoji screens made and installed by Japanese carpenters. The contemporary suites have a luxurious queen size bed and the traditional suite has two comfortable single futon.

Indulge in the Japanese custom of bathing in their outdoor spa (for their contemporary suites) or their Hinokiburo (for their traditional suite).

For breakfast, guests will be able to sample a traditional Japanese set menu and also choose from a selection of Australian style dishes which vary daily served in their Japanese dining room.
