For the more adventurous, there’s plenty of opportunity to explore. Wongari sits nestled in a spectacular gorge setting, with gentle walks on their property along Waterfall Creekand Christmas Creek and also into Lamington National Park’s wilderness section. The renowned Stinson Wreck and Westray’s Grave walks are easily accessed and marked, but not formed.

Wongari’s two cabins each have their own access gate and are settled in their own private six acres of forest surrounds. With200 metres ofcreek frontage – Christmas Creek, and Waterfall Creek – you’ll be guaranteed not to be disturbed. The holiday cottages are fully self-contained with a wood fire and oven, rainforest deck, king-sized bed and rainforest shower.
