2018 Jim MacGinley Memorial Tournament – SEQ Polo.

Have a day or two at the polo – September 1-2

South East Queensland Polo Club will host the first annual Jim MacGinley Memorial Tournament on September 1-2 at Elysian Fields, Canungra.

The inaugural memorial tournament will be an opportunity to remember polo legend and much-loved member of the Queensland polo community, Jim MacGinley.

The Ritchies Boonah Arts Festival is an 8-day event every September, featuring street entertainment, competitions in art, performance, live theatre, writing, fashion, debate, and more.

International moto event, Red Bull Day in the Dirt, is being held outside the USA for the first time – coming ‘Down Under’ to the Scenic Rim’s Queensland Moto Park from September 7 – 9, 2018.

Tamborine Mountain’s Scarecrow Festival.

See hundreds of scarecrows on Tamborine Mountain – September 14-16

Visit Tamborine Mountain to see hundreds of scarecrows along a 17km trail.

There’ll be live music, face painting, pig racing, a farm animal petting zoo, pony rides, bubble soccer and old fashioned games, plus the opportunity to enjoy all the mountain has to offer.

Celebrate the 40th Beaudesert Swap Meet – September 15-16

The Scenic Rim Motor Sports Association is proud to be hosting the 40th Beaudesert Swap Meet on September 15-16 at the Beaudesert Showgrounds.

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the event, the Association is hosting a two day swap meet extravaganza, including the Super Sunday Show & Shine.

 

The 1:5 All Abilities Charity Relay.

Limber up for a charity relay – September 15

In your team of five, work together to complete a five kilometre relay amidst the stunning Tamborine Pony Club. Each relay participant will complete a one kilometre leg of a five kilometre course to highlight the statistic that one in five Australians have a disability.

Mojo Raid 2018

Do an adventure race at Lake Moogerah – September 15-16

The MOJO Raid, to be held at Camp Laurence, Lake Moogerah on September 15-16 2018, is an adventure race involving cycling, kayaking and hiking.

 

Darlington Community Markets in the Lost World

Darlington Community Market.

Head along to the Darlington Market – September 16

Live music, food from the Vintage Café and local produce will be highlights at the 2018 Darlington Community Markets on September 16.

The markets will go from 9am to 2pm at Darlington State School, 2744 Kerry Road, Darlington.

Local wares will also be on offer at the market stalls and there will be free kids entertainment, cheese and wine tastings, a petting zoo and sideshow alley.

Dust off your boots for the Boonah Rodeo – September 22

Prepare for a night of fun at the Boonah Rodeo, kicking off from 5pm at the Boonah Showgrounds.

Pink Polo.

Do polo for a cause – September 23

Join Queensland Polo at Elysian Fields, Canungra for the 2018 Queensland Gold Cup Pink Polo Day on September 23.

The licensed event is open to the public, and entry is by gold coin donation or $50 to book a car boot picnic space along the ridge overlooking the main field.

 

Beaudesert Golf Club

Support the Beaudesert Lions Charity Golf Day – September 30

The Lions Club of Beaudesert will host its 42nd annual charity golf day at the Beaudesert Golf Club on September 30. Come along and play a friendly game while raising funds to supply 300 sun protective swim shirts for grade 1 students locally.

Kooralbyn Valley MTB Endurance Series

Get on your bike – September 30

On the Edge Events will host the first event in its Kooralbyn Valley MTB Endurance Series on September 30.

The 6 hour Enduro Race will be held at the Kooralbyn Valley Mountain Bike Tracks at Ramada Kooralbyn Resort.
