A wonderful day out for families in the school holidays. Your children will never forget this exciting and informative experience at Summer Land Camels. Farm tours, camel rides, patting and feeding the camels, as well as hot dogs, burgers, gelato, smoothies, chocolate, camel cuddles, face painting, book readings and fun camel facts.
This is an event not to be missed. Watch the nation’s best bull riders in action in Beaudesert. You’ll get the ultimate spectator experience, seated in the first of its kind state of the art PBR-designed mobile stadium, which the Professional Bull Riders association will set up at the Beaudesert Showgrounds for the event.
If you love golf, head along to the Tamborine Mountain Golf Club 2018 Open on October 12, 13 and 14.
This is arguably south-east Queensland’s largest amateur golf event, and there’ll be substantial prize earnings every day of the competition.
Chantilly Farm in Witheren will host its first family-friendly Farm Festival on October 13, 2018.
Owners Bec and Josh will open the gates to their hydroponic farm, where they specialise in lettuce, micro herbs and edible flowers. Entry is free, and there’ll be farm tours, live music, market stalls, kids activities and cooking demonstrations. There’ll also be farm fresh produce, food and coffee for sale.
Head along and help The Penelopes raise funds for children’s charity Variety at the Long Table Dinner a the Dugandan Hotel.
Join them from 3pm for drinks and lawn games, followed by dinner and live music.
The Craft Extravaganza Christmas Fair on Tamborine Mountain will showcase the handmade craft of 50 local and south-east Queensland craftspeople. Their work will be available for purchase at reasonable prices, and goods will have a Christmas theme.
Have a good old fashioned weekend in country Kalbar – October 20-21

Kick off your shoes and sink your feet into the soft grass at O’Reilly’s Canungra Valley Vineyards beside Canungra Creek. Indulge in a three course shared platter menu featuring the best produce from the Scenic Rim, enjoy a selection of O’Reilly’s matching wines and stick around for Burning of the Canes afterwards.
