    The Scarecrows are Coming

Stone the crows, the scarecrows are coming to Tamborine Mountain!

The annual Scarecrow Festival is a highlight for the village community, with hundreds of scarecrows set to line the 17km trail.

You can drive the trail and pull over to take a ‘selfie’ with the scarecrows.

Book accommodation and stay all weekend to make the most of the jampacked 2018 Scarecrow Schedule.

There’s so much on offer all day on Saturday September 15 at the Tamborine Mountain Showgrounds. Catch the Haystack Hermits perform on stage, as well as The Inadequates, Lily and the Repurcussions drumming group.

The kids will love bubble soccer, pig racing, the giant slide and the spinning teacup ride.

Feast from the food trucks, browse the market stalls and of course enjoy the hundreds of scarecrows.

As the sun sets catch the Scarecrow Lantern Parade down Main Street, where you’ll see hundreds of scarecrow-themed lanterns.

Local restaurants wil be offering a great range of share platters, pizzas, wine and other refreshements.

While you’re on the mountain be sure to drop in on the local craft and antique shops, art galleries, wineries, the cheese factory, brewery, cafes and restaurants.

Spring is nearly here and the mountain is also home to some spectacular gardens.
