Autumn orchid and foliage show.
Expand your orchid collection – 9 to 10 March
Be inspired and grow your orchid collection at the Beaudesert Districts Orchid and Foliage Society Autumn Orchid and Foliage Show. You can purchase plants and accessories and hear a guest speaker talk about basics for growing orchids.

Kerry Valley Blue Tree Project.
Join the Kerry Valley Blue Tree Project celebration – 10 March
Celebrate the Kerry Valley Blue Tree Project with an afternoon of entertainment at Kerry Memorial Hall. The people behind the project want to thank the community and beyond for the support shown for their project aiming to reach out to those experiencing mental health issues.

O’Reilly’s Bird Week.
See hundreds of bird species at O’Reilly’s – 10 to 15 March
Flock to O’Reilly’s Rainforest Retreat for Autumn Bird Week from Sunday March 10 to Friday March 15, 2019.
A precursor to the larger internationally renowned O’Reilly’s Bird Week held each November, Autumn Bird Week is a relaxed experience ideal for beginner bird watchers hoping to see the unique birds of Lamington National Park in a small group.

Lake Wyaralong
Have a day at the lake, watch the regatta – first 3 Saturdays of March
There are regattas the first 3 Saturdays of March at the beautiful Lake Wyaralong! The regatta action for the month of March culminates in the exciting GPS Head of the River Rowing Championships on 16 March.

Spectator entry is free and Lake Wyaralong has walking and cycling tracks and beautiful picnic spots.
Bring cash to to purchase food and drinks, stop to check out the nearby towns of Beaudesert or Boonah on your way to or from the regatta and stop in at The Overflow Estate 1895 just down the road from all the rowing action.

Introduction to Life Drawing.
Get an introduction to life drawing – 3 to 6 March
Stay on the beautiful Tamborine Mountain for a three-day creative workshop with renowned local artist Gaye Dell.
Each participant will leave the mountain with a feeling of serenity, a smile, some know-how and pieces of art they have created.

On the Edge Events.
Hit the mountain bike tracks – 10 March
Join the folk from On the Edge Events for the first Gravity Enduro series to be held in the Scenic Rim.
The event will be held in Kooralbyn, with five timed runs and plenty of time for transitioning through the Kooralbyn trails.

Head to Tamborine Mountain for a two-day creative writing workshop on how to write your life story.
Award-winning author Marisa Parker will host the workshop, and accommodation is included in the package.

BAMS War of the Worlds
Have a night at the local theatre – 15 to 23 March
Join BAMS Theatre Inc. for The War of the Worlds: The 1938 Radio Script live on stage.
It features the pre-show The Music of the ‘30s with The Bamettes singers.
