Furari Flores by Cara-Ann Simpson is a multisensory arts exhibition exploring the wonder of plants.
Come and enter a world of botanical magic and join the artist on a journey of deep listening, Earth admiration and plant love.
Furari Flores is Latin for ‘stealing flowers’ and this exhibition celebrates the wonder of plants. Incorporating sight, smell, hearing, and tactility, this project creates an immersive, sensory experience.
Furari Flores explores the themes of environmental art, data visualisation, technology, geometry, and meditation, and grew out of Cara-Ann’s experience with extreme illness and a life-changing diagnosis.

We are proud of our diverse communities within the region. We acknowledge the traditional owners of the many lands within the Scenic Rim - the Mununjali in the Centre, the Wangerriburra to the East, the Ugarapul to the West, and all those of the Yugambeh and Jagera language groups. We pay respect to their Elders, past, present and emerging.
