This tour takes us to Lamington National Park World Heritage area, Green Mountains section.
Lamington National Park is a World Heritage listed site of over 20 000ha featuring some of the world’s most exotic landscapes, flora and fauna. This area is recognised globally as one of the premiere locations for birds and bird watchers with thousands of people heading to the mountain each year in hope of catching a glimpse of the many rare species that can be found at the park.
We leave the Gold Coast and head west making our way towards Green Mountains, with a short break at the inland town of Canungra. This small town is considered the gateway to the mountains which include Green Mountains, Mt Tamborine and Binna Burra Section of Lamington National Park.
