Barney View Bush Camping, nestled in the heart of nature, is situated on the Logan River and surrounded by the foothills of Mt Maroon in the Scenic Rim. Located approximately 12 km from Rathdowney and one and a half hours from Brisbane and the Gold Coast it provides the perfect bush camping getaway experience. With five spacious, flat, grassy campsites and river access, guests can enjoy a refreshing swim, kayaking, and fishing (catch and release) or simply relax on the riverbank and at night enjoy a campfire under the vast night sky. The campground is accessible by 4WD or semi-off-road vehicles only. It is not suitable for low-clearance vehicles or standard vans; if you are unsure of your setup’s accessibility, please contact your host. There are no facilities, all campers are required to be fully self-sufficient and self-contained with their own toilet and shower. All waste and rubbish must be taken with you on departure. As we are a working property, please be aware of roaming cattle.
