Canungra Rodeo –  July 8  MOVED to August 27 due to weather
It’s going to be big. Gates open at 11am, main event from 2pm.

The Shepherd’s Walk – July 15
The Shepherd’s Walk is held each July in memory of Aboriginal tribe’s people and the Chinese Shepherds who lost their lives in conflict around 1850 in the Kerry Valley. The walk is organised by the Historical Society of Beaudesert, through the Beaudesert Museum.
The walk is about 9km and has been held since 1987.

World Environment Day Festival – July 15
Here’s a festival to celebrate living a sustainable lifestyle. Organised by the Boonah Organisation for a Sustainable Shire, the event features innovative market stalls, displays, demonstrations, free creative workshops native wildlife and loads of local organic produce and food, plants and live music.
Entry via a gold coin donation.
It’s held at The Outlook Boonah.

Cheesemas in July – July 23
Forget Christmas in July, this is Cheesemas in July! Now you’re talking. Feast on a five-course tasting plate menu, crafted by Kate Raymont of The Vintage Pickle. Her favourite local cheeses will be profiled and matched with a selection of award-winning wines from Canungra Valley Vineyards.

Scenic Rim Star Party – July 22
A night out celebrating the stars. Open to star gazers of all ages and experience. Demonstrations and viewings from 3pm until late. Weather dependent, check the website.
