Check out the calendar of events below for all information, and follow Turning Canungra Pink on Facebook to keep up to date with the latest!

Turning Canungra Pink was started in 2011 by local business owner Di Crooks, herself a breast cancer survivor.  In 2013 the Canungra Chamber of Commerce became involved, creating a fundraising event that lasted throughout October and involved most of the businesses and many residents in the town.  In the past 2 years Turning Canungra Pink has successfully raised over $40,000 per year – a great effort for such a  small town.

Funds raised from events held in October 2019 will be donated to Cancer Council Queensland (50 per cent) and Pink Assist (50 per cent), a local fund that provides practical support to local people who are being treated for cancer.

Pink Assist was established in 2017 and has helped a number of Canungra residents through their cancer journey.

It’s all about raising money and awareness for all types of cancer.
