On 26 January only, there will be acoustic live music from 2pm to 7pm, outdoor lounges, local food and a licenced bar. They are also including the much-loved Mt Barney Lodge pop-up outdoor café. Check out the amazing Summer Silhouette Sculptures while you’re there!
To experience the full walking trail in comfort, a reasonable level of fitness and comfortable walking shoes are recommended, and bring a refillable water bottle – their tap water is free.
Sculptures will be up lit from sunset every day in January, including for the Australia Day Sunday session.
Entry is free for accommodated guests and AUD15 for day visitors for this event, and throughout January.
The walking trail to view the onsite Summer SILHOUETTE Sculptures is best done after 5pm when conditions are perfect for walking and photography. These outdoor sculptures and ephemeral/eco installations have been created by esteemed Scenic Rim and other artists who have a connection to the Lodge, and these sculptures are installed at various scenic points on the property.
Mt Barney is the perfect silhouette backdrop to showcase acoustic music and original sculptures.
