Celebrate regional arts at Arts Ablaze Queensland

Celebrate regional arts in Queensland at the inaugural Arts Ablaze conference and celebrations in the Scenic Rim.

Part conference and part festival, Arts Ablaze will be staged by Scenic Rim Regional Council from October 2 to 6 at the Ramada Resort Kooralbyn Valley.

THE CELEBRATIONS

If you’re looking for fun for the whole family, join in on the Arts Ablaze celebrations.

They’ll be free and open to the public from 5pm Friday, 4 October to 5pm Sunday, 6 October.

These celebrations will include artisan and arts business workshops, food trucks, roving performances, artisan markets, a children’s program and a full day and night performance program.

THE CONFERENCE

Are you an artist looking to connect with your counterparts from near and far?

The Arts Ablaze conference goes from Wednesday, 2 October to Friday, 4 October and is open to delegates from across Queensland and beyond.

Program highlights include First Nation projects and perspectives, panel discussions, a Regional Arts Development Fund forum, Queensland Touring Showcase, PechaKucha sessions, funding information, exhibitions, site activations, a cocktail function, a conference Arts Dinner, facilitated networking events and more.
