The popular Chappy Challenge returns on March 4.
The annual event offers participants the opportunity to cycle, run or walk through the beautiful Fassifern Valley and support the great work school chaplains do in the district.
Runs and rides offer the diversity to cater for children, fun runners and serious athletes.
The event has become a popular highlight on the local calendar.
Chaplaincy is a treasured part of the education experience in the Fassifern area. Chaplains visit all local state and private schools around the Boonah area. Funds raised by the Chappy Challenge are used to offset the shortfall in funds provided by the Federal Government to employ the chaplains.
This year’s Chappy Challenge features events across a range of distances.
The 35km, 60km and 95km road cycle. The 5km and 10km road run/walk.
A 1.5km cycle showground track for five and six-year-olds.
