The Arts Ablaze event is funded by the Australian Government’s Building Better Regions Fund and Scenic Rim Mayor Greg Christensen says the event is expected to attract more than 5000 visitors to the region and provide a platform for the local arts community to prosper.
“We’re extremely proud of the multicultural diversity in our region and bringing an event of this calibre to the Scenic Rim will not only benefit the professional development of our local artists, but will also enhance the region’s reputation as a destination for large-scale educational and artistic events,” he says.
