Moogerah Passion Play- 1, 6 & 7 April 2012

Amphitheatre, Lake Moogerah.This community performance features 100 cast and crew from all denominations. They perform the story of Easter in a natural amphitheatre on the banks of Lake Moogerah. Performances are held on March 31, April 1, 6 and 7.

Blast into Arts-  2 to 13 April 2012

Annual Moogerah Fireworks Display- 8 April 2012

Don’t miss this popular event which is staged from barges on Lake Moogerah. See the reflection of the fireworks on the water. The event is organised by All Fired Up Fireworks and is provided for the enjoyment of the local community and holidaymakers  7-7.30pm. Website

Erth’s Dinosaur Petting Zoo- 28 April 2012

Boonah Cultural Centre. Meet Erth’s awesome prehistoric creatures, from cute dinos to teeth-gnashing giants. Ancient life-like dinosaurs are brought to life in this fun, educational and unique performance that will delight dinosaur lovers of all ages. Kids Holiday Cooking Classes  19 & 21 April 2011

The Centre, 82 Brisbane Street, Beaudesert 11am-2pm Children: 8-12yrs
The Kids Holiday Cooking Classes will provide a fun way to focus on nutrition and the use of fresh local produce. Each class will be restricted to 10 children aged between 8 and 12 years of age, who will learn about healthy eating and nutrition and basic kitchen skills to use at home. The menus will be ‘child friendly’, appetising and budget friendly. Each child will take home a souvenir apron and recipes from the class (with a list of local producers on the
back) and prepare an entrée, main meal and dessert which they will eat at the end of the class at a sit down lunch. Children will be encouraged to be involved in every aspect of cooking and kitchen routine, including clean up of the kitchen. Absolute care will be taken with all kitchen utensils and appliances. Closed-in shoes must be worn.
