Scenic Rim food producers and the Scenic Rim Regional Council promoted some of the region’s food and wine offerings at South Bank’s Regional Flavours event last weekend.
Organisers say the two-day event attracted crowds of about 60,000 people, up about 10,000 on last year and was held in conjunction with the Delectable Festival.
Now in it’s fourth year, Regional Flavours hosts more than 100 of Queensland’s best food and wine producers from 12 growing regions, including the Scenic Rim.
Scenic Rim Olives, Towri Sheep Cheeses, Tamborine Mountain Tea, Cedar Creek Winery and O’Reillys Canungra Valley Vineyards were all involved.
Scenic Rim Council staff were on hand to provide information about the region and promote the local tourism industry.
