1. Chasing the Lollyman

This one man show was devised and is performed by one of Queensland’s most dynamic and funny indigenous performers, Mark Sheppard.
It’s a joyous sharing of stories, a celebration of urban indigenous identity and takes a satirical look at the media and popular culture.

2. Love Letters across the Rim
July 7 to August 18, The Centre Beaudesert
This art exhibition has been developed by the Ethos Foundation, with the help of artists Dave Groom and John Jackson. This community arts and ecology project celebrates the love between people and the landscapes of the Scenic Rim region. The project enables the forests, rivers, mountains and rocks of this region to speak through paintings, poetry and stories that are a collection of community love letters.
3. Tamborine Mountain Wedding Expo
July 15 – Vonda Youngman Community Centre, Knoll Rd North Tamborine
If you’re thinking of having your wedding on the mountain then this is the Expo for you.
Everything you will need will be under the one roof – venues, photographers, cakes, florists and more.

4.Morning Melodies – Simon Gallagher’s Secret Love
July 27 – Boonah Cultural Centre
Simon Gallagher returns to perform songs from his album, Secret Love.
This show features classic love songs and torch songs from the past 50 years.

5. Beechmont Community Markets
July 15 – The Beechmont Community Markets are held on the third Sunday of every month between 8am and midday.
Buy local produce, home-baked goods, local honey and native plants, as well as local arts and crafts. Hear local musicians perform.
The markets are held at the old school site, Beechmont Rd, Beechmont.
The Scenic Rim is home to a good range of local art, craft and produce markets.
